Elengos operates the full procurement chain — sourcing, aggregating, grading, testing, fumigating, documenting, and shipping. Below is what we do, and how we do it.

    Sourcing & aggregation

    Direct relationships with smallholder cooperatives, primary aggregators, and warehouse operators across Iringa, Njombe, Ruvuma, Mbeya, Mtwara, Lindi, and the Lake Zone. We buy at the farm gate or aggregation point and consolidate at our depots.

  2. 02

    Quality control & testing

    Every lot is graded, cleaned and tested before bagging. Aflatoxin testing on groundnuts, maize, and other susceptible crops is non-negotiable for export-bound consignments.

    Warehousing & fumigation

    Secure warehousing at our aggregation points with phosphine fumigation as required by destination markets and ISPM-compliant treatments where applicable.

    Export documentation & logistics

    Full documentation chain — certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificates, fumigation certificates, BL preparation, and freight coordination through Dar es Salaam port.

    Domestic supply

    For local processors and millers — flour mills, oil pressers, breweries, feed manufacturers — we supply graded lots in bag or bulk, delivered to your facility on agreed schedules.

  6. 06

    Sourcing on contract

    For buyers requiring crops we don't routinely stock — pulses, oilseeds, spices — we source on contract from regions and cooperatives we know, against agreed volume and specification.
